We danced under the rain

Une minute de lecture

We waited for the rain to stop falling on us
Very annoying, yes, but I didn't want to make a fuss
I couldn't believe my chance
When you proposed me a dance
We danced under the rain, as if no one could see
I said I didn't care, and you agreed with me
No music was playing, but we danced, nonetheless
Maybe I couldn't dance ; maybe it was a mess
But, honey, it didn't matter
And, had I been with someone else, I wouldn't have danced better
And when the rain stopped, so did the dance
Honey, I couldn't believe my chance
When the sun came back
I was taken aback
When the sunrays pierced the sky
I couldn't help but happily cry
And as a final for the dance
You took a chance
And it was the sweetest thing, honey
The moment you kissed me...
